Catcha Falling Star with teenager?
Hey y'all, long time no post :)
We are planning a trip back, but this time we're bringing our kid again. She'll finally be old enough to stay at Catcha, so we are splitting a stay. Has anyone ever stayed at Catcha with three in a room? What rooms are best for two adults and a teen? She will be 15 at the time. It will be in the winter, so I'm not worried about no a/c during the day. Thanks!
Re: Catcha Falling Star with teenager?
Moon and Star cottages are both two bedrooms, there are some 2 bedrooms in the newer building as well.
We have stayed in Libra, both Gemini's, Pisces, and the Gatehouse and they wouldn't have room for a 3rd person to sleep.
Can't speak for the newer rooms though.
Enjoy!

Yeah, I was thinking it would need to be Moon or Star, or one of the suites in the newer building. Thanks for the advice!

she will be bored to tears . . .
Re: Catcha Falling Star with teenager?
No she won't. She is an only child, she is used to being by herself! She is fine with solitude.

Re: Catcha Falling Star with teenager?
Catcha is not a place for a kid. She might be able to enjoy herself as she is used to the solitude, however the other adult guest might feel different. I'm sure she is a sweet kid, all of our kids are..... I have stayed there 8 times, and only once have I seen a teenager. The dude was bored out of his mind.....
Re: Catcha Falling Star with teenager?
Well, since they allow guests 15 and older, I don't think the hotel minds too much. If her being there ruins someone's good time, I have a feeling that that person/those people wouldn't be happy regardless.
Not trying to sound smart-mouthed. However, she's not going to be loud or obnoxious or in any way interfere with anyone else's good time. She wouldn't be hanging out at the bar or staying up all night. She's been to Catcha before and just wants to experience a stay there.
Re: Catcha Falling Star with teenager?
I think she'll love it. She'll love jumping the cliffs. Bring some cards or games you can play in the evenings on those great porches if you stay in the star or the moon. Also a book to read while relaxing during the day.
Re: Catcha Falling Star with teenager?
better option is a nice place on the beach where she will have more options of activities . . .
the cliff resort is beautiful, hands down. but, small and inclusive, great for an adult not so much for a teen.
nowhere to go . . .
