Coco la Palm vs Travelers?
Heading down in June with GF and her two adult kids (18 & 19). Can't believe it has been six years since my last reach!!!
1) Definitely staying on the beach for their first time. Internet Deal for Seastar w/ Airfare was incredible, but they want the beach.
2) Package deals for Travelers are very very affordable, but I'm concerned that it might be a bit to "rustic"? Appreciate any comments and or comparisons?
Thanks,
VVHT
Re: Coco la Palm vs Travelers?
Traveller's is significantly far away from CoCo..I guess it depends what you guys are looking for...Coco is a bit far down for my taste as I prefer to be by Bourbon and the night scene....I wouldn't say it's too rustic...or any more so than a lot of other places...Coco just added new rooms....I tend to stay more for preferred location on the beach than the accommodation....so personally, I'd go with Traveller's...
Re: Coco la Palm vs Travelers?
Travellers isn't rustic. Perhaps their cabins/bungalows are more so without air. I just stayed in a superior kitchenette NYE and it was nice. Regular superior rooms are fairly large (as was the one with kitchenette). Standard rooms are smaller but just been renoed and very reasonably priced. There are also deluxe rooms and suites with kitchens. Great staff and management there. Entertainment a few nights a week. Nice large pool, restaurant. The beach is quite a bit smaller than Coco's but didn't feel crowded at all. I liked the close walk to town and would def return. I think the "kids" would have fun there, and so would you.
