Our Stay At Firefly

We stayed at Firefly in one of the Penthouse Oceanview Suites and it was wonderful. Our stay included breakfast every morning. The view from the balcony is the best we have ever had, it was the perfect spot to sit and look over the beach and ocean. The bedroom is lovely and has a high wood ceiling with an air conditioner and flat screen TV, the big window over the bed had louvered slats with screens so we could leave it open with no worries on bugs in the room. The bathroom has nice tile and there was always steaming hot water and good water pressure. There is a full kitchen with sink, full sized refrigerator, stove, microwave, and coffee maker. There is a wall and door between the kitchen and bedroom which if they took out and put in a breakfast bar and replaced the full sized refrigerator with a mini and took out the stove it would make one very spacious room while still having the microwave, coffee maker and a mini frige. The people who work there are great and all worked together to make sure we had everything we needed. The bedside lamp in our room didn't work the day we got there and Ben came up and took it to be fixed, I thought well I won't see it again but it was sitting there fixed the next day. I also needed an extension cord for the coffee maker and went to ask at the front desk and she reached in the cabinet and gave me one right on the spot. The grounds are kept immaculate by Ben and he gave us fruit off the trees on the property anytime we wanted. I did get to look at the Hummingbird Suite while we were there and although it is more spacious it was on the floor below ours and had fancy metal grates around the patio that didn't give as nice of a view as ours.

I booked through a consolidator for New Years. Found out we didn't have a room three weeks before. I was so disappointed. I was so looking forward to staying here. We walked here from CCLP and sit at the bar everyday. Thanks for your review. And the pics.

Miss Honey so sorry you had to change your plans. The girls at firefly are really easy to work with so maybe you will get a chance to work directly with them next time. You would love staying there.

We love the small places. CCLP is like being in Florida. Nice don't get me wrong way to big. The office people weren't nice not only to me but others. We got there way to early noon. Now there were only two rooms checking in this day. Our room wasn't ready till 4:00. They wouldn't let us check in early. Hard for me to believe room wasn't ready before then. As we sat in office I heard complaint after complaint on bills. Nobody got anywhere. Wh had moved from catcha falling star. Can't beat the small places.
