Having fun in March!
Staying at Riu Negril AI March 18-25. My girlfriend and I are in college looking to relax during the day and have some fun at night. What are the chances of running into others around the same age group also going for Spring Break? If anyone is going through those dates I would love to meet up and hang out for the only other person I know is my girlfriend!
So far I've gathered Jenny's Cakes, Orange Hill, Ted's (yes I am thinking what you're thinking) are most to go places to experience the good side of things. Does anyone know any friends or locals that could deliver on goods in Negril as well?

Re: Having fun in March!
Are you going to remember your vacation after going to Tedd's, Orange Hill and Jenny's cakes? Good luck! Would love to see a trip report.

Re: Having fun in March!
Break out of the Riu one afternoon and hop on the ONE LOVE Bus Tour with Lenbert and get a chance to stop in a few different spots for a drink and a few laughs and maybe meet some suitable partners in crime to go to Tedd's with !! You will see the West end and a different vibe from the Riu !

Here is Lenbert's number 874-6631. Tell him Rock n roll farmer sent ya! Have fun! It's all about that bass.....no treble. Also, go to Seastar for the Saturday night reggae & African drummers show. 957-0553. They will pick you and your GF up and bring you back to the Riu. Do me a favor??? At your Riu club hotel, tell Paul, the singing bartender {in the lobby bar} HI from Todd & Deb. Thanks. Respect. One Love.

Re: Having fun in March!
We were a little older than you on our first trip (late 20s). We also stayed at RIU.
Pack a back pack. Get a cab to Margarittaville. Walk through to the beach. Hang a left and have good time. Get there around noon. Walk the beach. Stop wherever you want to drink. If you feel adventurous, walk all the way down the beach, through the park and into town. Stay to the right and head up the west end road for more bars. Do this the first day or 2.

If you want a great drive hit up Shane Taxi . Shane is a young guy himself and will show you a great time, regardless if what you have in mind. He has a nice ride and drives safely as well. Have fun.....

Re: Having fun in March!
tedds shrom boom should probally hit just as your small group....its not for everybody.....the teas alright but ask if he has any cured "tea" products.......join the one love bus crawl....you will probally find like minded people there who "party" and really "party"...lol....ask lenbert(the tour guide) if he can make jennys as one of the stops....best special cake in negril IMO.....real good stoner food to be had there as well.....Aubies burgers on the cliffs also has cake and considered by many too be the best burger in town.....as far as general supplys of a special nature, dont worry it will find you...but be careful and use common sense.....have a blast

Re: Having fun in March!
Definitely hook up with a good driver if you are going to Ted's or Orange Hill (particularly Orange Hill since it is not within walking distance of Negril). You might find the local scene a little intimidating on your first trip and a good driver will stick with you and help you navigate the craziness. Shane Taxi is a good choice. I would also recommend Michael's On-Time Taxi - his info can be found in the Transport link at the top of this page.
Not much of a traditional Spring Break scene in Negril, but it sounds like it has the vibe you're looking for. You will probably find some people your age at Margaritaville, but as Flip said don't spend too much time there as there are 7 miles of beach (plus the cliffs) to explore.
