Best Driver/Guide and Hotels in Negril!!

In March, we vacationed in Negril and had the time of our lives! Spent four nights at the breathtaking Catcha Falling Star on the cliffs where we met a driver/guide, Jubba, who showed us around town and quickly became our friend. We then spent four incredible days and nights on the beach at the laid back and authentic Jamaican Negril Tree House Resort. We had Jubba take us on more excursions to see the real and natural Jamaica. It was amazing, and we can’t wait to go back next year! Definitely hope to hang out with Jubba and have him show us more of wonderful Jamaica – day or night he knows where to go and what to do to have a great time. I highly recommend both hotels. Update and good news - Jubba just recently got his Red Plate - congratulations to him!! You can call him for a taxi or tour at 876-877-7955.

(Post edited as the driver/guide being mentioned is not a legal taxi yet. I spoke with Jubba just a few minutes ago - nice guy - but he said he has not gotten his Red Plate yet. When he does he will give me a call! We thank him for his understanding.)

We had Jubba drive us a couple times when we were there last month. Met him outside of Catcha after dinner at Ivan's. Super nice guy. We had him take us to Calico Jack's Pirate shack. It was his first time there so we invited him to join us for lunch on the island. Great time! We stayed at Spa Retreat but would highly consider Catcha Falling Star. Beautiful property!
