Rooms on the Beach questions
My son will soon be going to Negril for the first time without his father:(, he and his friend will be staying at Rooms on the Beach. It will be interesting to me to hear his perspective on Negril as a young adult, he has experienced Negril as child and teenager, under his father's wing, but now he will see Negril on his own.
Has anybody stayed at Rooms recently, and if so, would you like to share your thoughts on the place? How is the breakfast, security, pool, overall experience... Thanks!
Re: Rooms on the Beach questions
We've stayed at Room often. Rooms are modern and clean. The breakfast is adequate... coffee, pastry, a bit of fruit, maybe some cereal. It is what it is, for the price, its at a nice mid-way spot of the beach, lots of restaurants and bars nearby within walking distance. We only used the pool when the ocean got 'angry'. Sometimes its clean and sometimes not so much. There is a low wall on the beach side, which prevents the constant nagging to buy something. You have a choice of being social or not. Security keeps annoyances at bay, which, in our experience is even more important off season, when things get a bit more aggressive, due to lack of sales. Overall, we have very few issues at Rooms.
