What is this teenie tiny black fly buzzing in my ear?? Lol
Bourbon beach was nice last night. The strip club on the beach is interesting but loud if you stay in merrils 3. Merrils 2 is nicer than merrils 3 and merrils 1 is the nicest of them all it seems. Free upgrade from merrils 3 to 2 because my room wasn't ready on arrival. Now I'm all alone in a huge oceanfront suite listening to these flies but I love it! Lol

I thought Merrils 1 was no longer a part of the Merrils brand. I was told it's going to be a private resort catering to the Italian tourists from Merrils. Was what I heard not true? If you are staying at 2 and 3 can you eat at the new resort? When I was at Merrils 2 in April they were still working on the property (Merrils 1).
Merrils 1 is still part of merrils as they share staff and name but now it's in contract with veroclubs or something like that catering exclusively to Italians. Merrils 2/3 residents can not eat there.
Any more on the trip report? Would love to see more pictures of your trip back home.
