Should I bring a mosquito net for the bed? (Xtabi in November)
I'm staying in one of the seafront cottages at Xtabi in November.
They don't look like they have screens on the windows.
Should I bring a mosquito net to hang over the bed???
Don't want to pack it if it is not necessary....
Thanks for your kind advice!

Shouldn't be a problem. Getting a couple mosquito coils from Mega Mart ot Hi Lo (like a burning incense) should be sufficient. Ask property about screens - I generally hate to run A/C but that might be another option.

If you have it, bring it.
They have the teeny mosquitos there.
Those little itty bitty critters can make a night uncomfortable.

We have stayed on the cliffs and on the beach for 14 trips and have never had a problem with mosquitos, walk outside at dusk here at home and get eaten alive! The mosquitos may be allergic to the high alcohol content in our bloodstreams in Negril!

We've stayed cliff side several times at xtabi, never really had any problems with mosquito's,been there June,July August, jan, and feb, also as far as I remember the windows do have screens, xtabi is awesome and so are the peeps that work there.

mi live a couple lanes over and brought down a mosquito net three years ago cause mi thought mi might need it...
but haven't used it......it's really only the Summer you would need one anyways or in rainy season when dem mosquito's come out....
but even then you don't really need one especially the closer to the wata you are........
November is a drier time of year so bringing down a mosquito net would be a waste......
Cool Runnings, Marko

I wouldn't bother. The mosquitos that are a problem bite in the day.
