Day 12

We have been at Coco la Palm for 2 days. Had a heavy downpour today that scattered everyone from the beach for an hour plus, but still came away with a nice sunset. Even though Best of the West had great food we would never eat there because it was difficult to eat at their bar. Well that has changed. They still have the bar, but also a tent with 4 or 5 tables set up with chairs. So it was a pleasure to eat there last night. Tonight we walked down to Colletes for a nice fish dinner. The sidewalk is FANTASTIC.

We ate there again tonight, but didn't read this till after dinner. The bar area is still the same, and looking at it from the road on the left side is an attached tent area about 14' X 14' which has maybe 6 tables (not 4) and the place was packed at 6:30.
We have only seen 2 cats, one is a kitten with a very short tail and the other seems to be the mom. Both doing well/

Love the Jamaican cats. Their ears seem to be longer that our in-foreign kittys. We'll be bringing a bag of those 'Temptation' cat treats with us.

Have the Mosquitos been bad? I read some where they have been lately?

I got bit up pretty good last week..the worst I have ever had..silent little assassins..

No skeeters for us. Just the usual sand fleas around dusk, but deet spray keeps us safe.
