What is the best way to call Jamaica from the states. I have tried an app called Comfi that seemed like a rip off. I bought a straight talk phone that said it could call internationally but when I tried, for some reason it doesn't cover Jamaica.... Suggestions please!
My sister-in-law has straight talk and bought an international card. She can't call either. I have Verizon and can call with my plan. I have a app called WhatsApp. I can text for free when I go to Jamaica.
I haven't found any cheap way to call Jamaica either. There are some cards out there but none of them are cheap calling a cell phone in Jamaica only land lines. Most Jamaicans don't have land lines. I can text for 40 cents on Sprint and receive for 20 cents or vise versa! Sorry not much help.
Whatsapp works. Free texting and calling. Sometimes the quality is low for voice, but it works...

Its cheaper for Jamaica to call you!
If you have a ja SIM and can roam with it at home you may want to look into getting an International roaming package.
If possible, its better to buy the minutes for someone in Ja and have them call you using an Int. LD plan.
