Disturbance at Red Dragon!

LAST MONDAY there was a huge disturbance in Negril/Red Ground...

the look of shock and horror swept across the many, many faces of visitors and locals alike...
NO PORK TODAY...
was being repeated every 5 minutes at Red Dragon...
after ordering icy cold beer or a que of rum...
visitors looked at each other in frustration and concern...
everyone shouted to GARDO (the bartender)..."how could this happen?", "why no pork?"...

It turned out that the master jerk pork chef was not happy with the batch that'd been made and would NOT serve the pork to his guests...
I thought...now that is being wonderfully particular...
in all of my years and Rob's years of living here we'd never heard nor had seen Red Dragon not having pork available other than having run out later in the day!

BUT...not to fear and for those that missed it last Monday...
that incredible jerk pork has been available since and will be available again today - Monday!!

PHEWWWW!!

Oh my goodness..........I'm glad that the "pork shortage" was short lived. Looking forward to having some soon.

I love the cold Red Stripes, the Overproof Rum and the company of tourists and locals alike at Red Dragon, but man I gotta have the pork! Can't imagine being there without it. The only time I did the Red Dragon with no pork was the 2014 World Cup Final, Germany v Argentina. Since it was on a Sunday, no pork, had two bags of Plantain Chips instead.
