Re: Bars/Food near Catcha!
Ahhbees is down near Catcha, just across from Tensing Pen, great burgers! Lighthouse Inn to the South has German food. Unf it was closed when I was in the area. ;(
Towards the top of the cliffs area, Canoe and right across the street, Quality's Sea Breeze Restaurant and Bar. I highly recommend to stop and see Quality for some superb seafood. Should be an easy route taxi from Catcha.
I would also highly recommend Peewee's next to Blue Cave Castle for some good cheap breakfast. 2 eggs, bacon, 2 slices of toast and coffee, $500j.
Enjoy!

Re: Bars/Food near Catcha!
Thanks Moose. As we havent spent much time in the cliffs - can we walk a lot of places? Is it safe at night to go from bar to bar on foot? And are there lots of higglers like on the beach, or is it a different vibe?
Re: Bars/Food near Catcha!
Hang a right out the gate at Catcha and you will run into LTU, past Rick's cafe. It has a cool bar with mostly an expat/local crowd and they also serve up some good food. Continue down the road past LTU and you will hit Sir D's/Firewater/Lovenest. This is one of the best places to take in the sunset as the view from here is outstanding. They have nice cold beer as well as pre rolls if you are interested. Heading back toward Catcha from Sir D's you will see Sexy Rexy's on your right, just a couple hundred feet from Sir D's. The place looks like a total dump, however Rexy has cold beer and is a character that you need to hang out with at least once.
If you want to take in a game walk up Seastar Lane about 400 yards and you will run into Seastar Inn. It is a safe road to walk up and once you get there you will appreciate all that they have to offer. Multiple TV's, happy hour specials, and one of the best hotel owners you will ever meet, very hands on expat.
Re: Bars/Food near Catcha!
Sesatar has excellent food and drink. Don't miss it; along with their Saturday night buffet and Show. Check their website for details. Don't want to walk the 400 yards? They'll pick you up and drop off on Buffet night.
Re: Bars/Food near Catcha!

Yes he is. Before that he was in North America. In definition I used the wrong word and thanks for the correction Cap.

Walking in the daytime yeah, walking a bit buzzed in the daytime, idk. Walking at dusk, yeah. After dark and buzzed? Probably wouldn't recommend it. No sidewalks.
There are some people with stands, but for the most part are not pushy, especially if you are across the street from them. ;)
Route cabs have red plates and are marked on the side as such and are a decent way to get around. Be forewarned about using a white plate though, they are not licensed or insured to carry passengers.
HTH and enjoy your stay.
