Chronixx Concert Last Night

Linston, fellow boardie Yetta, my beautiful wife, and I headed out of Negril at 3:30 PM yesterday for the trip to Falmouth and the Chronixx Part II Capture Land Tour.

Merry Christmas everyone!!

We arrived at the Martha Brae rafting village in plenty of time for the show. This was absolutely the best venue I have ever been to for a show in Jamaica. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. We waited in wide-eyed in anticipation for the show to begin....

There had been some hard rain in the afternoon so the show was delayed for two hours (at least that was the reason given!) and the first act didn't hit the stage until 8 PM.

I didn't catch his name but he was good. The second act was a guy called Jesse Royal. I had never heard of him, but he was excellent...

Chronixx put on a great show and his song "Smile Jamaica" is still playing over and over in my head as I type this!!

The show ended shortly after midnight and we were back in Negril by 2:30 AM. Man, I wish the traffic from MoBay to Negril was always as light as it was last night!!. It was a long day, but well worth the effort.

Big up to Linston for getting us there and back safely!!

Having been to the venue I can visualize this show quite well. That is awesome that you were able to see the show at that location. I had tickets once to see him, sadly I was just back from Jamaica and was too wore out to go. Next time.......
