Coming to Jamaica 3/9/16 - 3/18/16 With no place to stay

:mad: About a year ago, my husband and I booked 9 days at a place on the beach that we have stayed at 2 different times already. When I confirmed the rate with the owner back on October 23, 2015 via email (which I still have)..everything was fine.....Now after booking our flights...the owner is claiming she can no longer give us the discounted rate, as the room is one of their best...and it being high season and all.
Needless to say, we can not afford the room any longer. Any ideas of where to stay on the beach...what is important to us is: clean, safe room with ac, safe and a fridge....looking to pay approx. $60.00 or a little above per night.

I am so very happy to say the owner and I have reached an agreement...I am back to being beyond excited again !!!!

add $20 per night and a lot of options open up.
or just come down and negotiate a rate in person . . . that is the best option.
bar b barn is my choice . . . kuyaba has some good rates, check them out . . . great beach location . . .

For $86 a night Hidden Paradise has what your looking for. A safe, AC, fridge, cable tv. Its on the garden side on Manley Blvd., but has beach access as well as a restaurant/bar on the beach called Mama Flo's. They also provide beach lounge chairs.

Try the Donaldson's Inn .............. right on the beach .............. Ossie's Jerk stand right across the road.

$60 is beach road or Cliffs pricing......be tuff to get dat on the beach during da Winter

Very glad the original posted was able to get the issue resolved. Hope the trip is enjoyable. I'll just sit here counting down, keeping my time occupied by pictures and trip reports.
