Re: in&out Mixer beer stop
The local vodka is Kirov, I think. Comparable to any cheap Vodka in North America; and it's distilled in Jamaica. No worries. It's fine when mixed. It has a blue label; if that helps to identify. Less than 10 dollars Canadian a liter or 750 ml.

Is there a duty free once we land?
Re: in&out Mixer beer stop
The local vodka is rum! We used vodka our first trip on an A/I and then changed over to white rum and never looked back. Give it a shot, drinks really well on the island.

Re: in&out Mixer beer stop
If you're wanting to try a local vodka, try the Rum Bar brand vodka...much better than Kirov...and very affordable. You can find it readily at HiLo, Quality Traders etc.
