You might catch a glimpse of some construction next to hedo II as you are entrering Negril.kind of hard to miss it actually. Never actually stay there but the grand Lido that they tore down didn't seem to me like something to destroy then replace with the 900+ unit complex. There seems to be a lot of construction on that end of the Negril
We stayed closer to the south end of the beach this trip and on our first night we walked out to the water after dinner and looking toward the point (north end) it was so bright it looked like stadium lights. Later that night the lights weren't so bright. Saw it several times. I assume they are construction lights for Grand Lido.
Yes, in fact we were in Negril for 2 weeks at Point Village and there were crews working night and day with the exception of election day and the day after.noisy at times,
