Calico Jacks
We met the guy Tim in Negril that says he was part owner of Calico Jacks. Does anyone know how we can get in touch with him or have heard of him? We met him down at Sunnysides Bar by Rooms
Any idea of the cost to get there, I am reading mixed information about the Water Taxi and Entrance Fees.
Wondering if it's even worth it ?

Re: Calico Jacks
We had a nice time at Calico Jacks - you can check it out on Trip Advisor - getting out to the Island is always depending on the condition of the Sea - Sunday there is Live Music back on the beach - nice way to spend your afternoon

Re: Calico Jacks
Route taxi: $170 or whatever the going rate is
Entrance fee: $5.00 us
Boat taxi: $5.00 us
Food and drinks... Variable
I think I met Tim last year but I preferred talking to Andrew. Tim seems like the business end of tings and a little to forward for me, but I thought it was weird that he was trying to "sell" us on the place while we were actually sitting there, at the place, drinking rum from coconuts... Haha. Andrew was delightful and his lady gave me some aloe to help sooth my sun parched skin! A wonderful experience and one I am looking forward to in several weeks. It's not free but it's not going to break my budget either... What's $10 to get off Long Beach for a half day! I want to ask about being on the island for sunset, I hear it's incredible!

Re: Calico Jacks
You might want to keep in mind they aren't open every day. We took a trip out to half moon over christmas break. It seemed no boats were running out to the bar so my wife and I decided to snorkel out to it. When we got there it was abandoned, except for many bottles of booze LOL, and the hermit crabs. I don't recall which day of the week it was.

Re: Calico Jacks
Does anyone know if it is open everyday? And, if you need to call ahead.
Sandman, saw your other post to me. Thanks.
