We Made It

We made it! Wound up stuck in mo bay waiting for other people to arrive for our shuttle. Was exhausted after 14 hour day. Enjoyed the band at the Tree House plus a couple of fine rum punches. Had dinner and called it a short day. Thinking cafe goa and drifters later today. Probably paddleboard the next two mornings. Plan hitting drifters tuesday for the hiyah grade band. Would like to get out west too, maybe canoe bar? Say hello if you are here too. Great seeing so many familiar faces even after only one trip here.

Glad to hear you made it. Keep us updated with some reports. I'll be there Saturday and need my fix.

Day two/night two. Breakfast at the tree house. Lounged around. Went Cafe Goa For lunch. Jerk fish, oh yeah. Mystic Mento Band were awesome. Apparently we just missed Rob. Headed over to Drifters and checked out Luddy's set. Not reggae but good stuff. Had dinner at Chances and caught a set by Pinky Dread. He is indeed by favorite performer to see in Negril. Today we got up early and paddleboarded for an hour. Swam for a bit and strolled down the beach. Hassled a bit by a super super drunk guy. Spent the day in a hammock watching doctor birds. Hung out with a lovely friend we have made. Caught an incredible sunset. In early and up early again tomorrow for some more paddleboarding and hope to meet up with some people at Drifters for the Hiyah Grade Band.

How's the beach at Treehouse? Is there specific days that Treehouse has bands play?

Beach is good. I think band only on Saturday night. I believe they have drummers on Sunday.

Wow! It was great to meet you both! I stopped by Cafe Goa this afternoon to give Big Roy his latest supply of our ripe okra and mentioned that you wrote that I just missing you guys on Sunday! He stood up, and said "wait"! He ran to the other side of the restaurant and called over the fence. To my surprise, you both came up to say HI! I love this island! On Sunday you just missed me while I was waiting to see you guys. And today I just missed you while you were having lunch. But thanks to Roy and his love of okra, we got a chance to meet up! Too Cool!

Indeed. Great to meet you. I had hoped you could meet my gf...fellow Ohioan. We wanted to grab some banana pancakes before we left. Look forward to next time!
