I had to go into town today so I hopped in a route taxi to Value Master and then walked to Sunshine Plaza. That was when I realized how hot it was. I visited a friend who works there because I knew they had A/C.

Sue, have to agree, Mandrax corner is the worst!!! A couple of times I have jumped up onto the wall to avoid getting hit.
The story I heard is that Mandrax is the European name for quaaludes and back in the day a few tourist high on quaaludes or Mandrax couldn't navigate the corner and would end up in the water!!!! Hence the name Mandrax Corner...
