Escaping Wisconsin winter... possible?

We would really love to strike a chunk of Wisconsin winter from our calendar... and, of course, Negril would be one option. How feasible is it for this dream to become a reality for a reasonable price? We're thinking 3 to 4 weeks in January or February, hopefully on or very near the Beach. Minimum furnishings for two of bed and bedding, bath and towels, kitchenette with stove and fridge, housekeeping and laundry services for $1500? Possible? Beyond that we'd need to obtain food and drink, of course... this we know. Thoughts?

You might be a little short at $1500 for 3 or especially 4 weeks on or near the beach at that time of year. Check Pure Garden for their price for a kitchenette suite. Pure Garden is across the street from the beach. Let them know you want a three or four week booking. I have been seeing positive reports on the improvements being made. Your housekeeper will take care of your laundry needs for a reasonable price. Nice pool at back of property with view of the Great Morass. I stayed there many times years ago when it was called The Bungalo.

I think you can find something, January might be more possible than February. After the 1st days of the year, before Bob Marley week.

I would recommend rondel but across the street from beach

Maybe Treehouse, or Beach Club Condos (Jean Gaynair)

They have 2 nice size beds in each room, Kitchen rooms too.
Housekeeping (ladies that clean excellent) every day.
Cable, AC. Swimming pool and excellent security.

Not yet, brudder... It's on the back burner until we return from this weekend's camping outing. Some interesting possibilities in Belize and CR... but Negril is still Negril.
