Travel day and set up

We left Spokane, WA at 545pm, a stop in Seattle and Charlotte then Montego Bay. Our good friend Picked us up, warm hugs all around as its been a while since we've seen him! Bags loaded and off we go with a cooler full of Red Stripe, a juice for the minor and a bag full of warm fresh beef patties for the ride to Negril. Lots of good conversation and reminiscing while we look at the beauty of the beer joints, the beach, the school kids and the goats along the way.
We arrive ahead of check in time at Negril Beach Club, we change and store our bags while we wait. A little beach time and we get some fruit from Mama on the beach.
A quick walk left down the beach and soon we are at the fish market and then the roundabout. We walk back to the condo enjoy a few Red Stripes and our room was ready. We move in and get settled during the afternoon rain shower. Our condo is huge! 2 bedroom 2 bath with a full kitchen all for 1440 u.s. for 16 nights for 5 of us. We have 5 double beds.

Walk back down on the street to ValuMart grab essentials to stock up, exchange some $ and grab a route taxi back.
We put everything away, I make a couple of rum punches and we walk to the left down the beach.
We decided on Woodstock for dinner. A few jerk chicken orders, jerk chicken salad and steamed conch. No one was disappointed.
We return to the condo, all beat from travel and beach time, we take quick showers and hit the sack for the night.

Damn that's a DEAL! Our condo is huge! 2 bedroom 2 bath with a full kitchen all for 1440 u.s. for 16 nights for 5 of us. We have 5 double beds.

Great start to the trip report,thanks for sharing!! $90.00/night for a 2 bedroom 2 bath sounds like a great deal!!

Which unit at Negril Beach Club did you have? The 2 bedrooms are huge and well worth it with large groups.
