Corner store to the left of rooms on the beach
Hey everybody, it has been 3 years since I last visited Negril. There used to be a convenience store just to the left of Rooms (when facing the ocean) where you could buy snacks and some red stripes. Does anybody know if that store is still open??
Thanks for any info

Unfortunately that store is no longer there.

Are you referring to the road, or on the beach ? There is a little bar called Sunnyside to the left of Rooms, on the beach. It has great prices on beer!!! No convenience store there, but across the street there is a little store next to Sweet Spot, great prices on beer to purchase.

What you're referring to is Myrna's which is no longer there... Next to the sunnyside is the Ital restaurant...

Thanks for the information. I know of the store on the roadside and it is close enough. The one on the beach was very handy. Is it worthwhile going into negril to buy a full case price wise? I don't remember there being too much of a price difference at the little store on the beach. 4 cases of 6 pretty was very close to the price of a 24 in Negril.

In November 2015 at the little store we got a 6pack for $8.50usd. I am not sure what the average cost of the case /24 would cost, but was definitely happy with the price. We would walk across the street to buy beers and walk back over and hang out with "Jerky" - Boston Jerk Chicken cart next to Rooms. Really great people.

The Boson Jerk Chicken cart must be new in the last few years. Sounds like a great place to try!!!!! Thanks for the info.

A case of 24 red stripe in negril is around 2700 j's ($22.00 us). Cheapest place is the store just across the lane by the bank of Nova Scotia.
