wow...... wood strip floor over concrete......nice.....you don't usually see that in Jamaica.....most do tile
usually it wood over wood joists.......and then polish them up nice and red....ha ha

Yes. It's 2 x 8 joist 16" on center with four longitudinal supports. 3/4" ply sub floor and tongue/grove flooring.

When I get back in Nov we're pouring concrete footers attached to the longitudinals with rebar hold downs.

I did want this first section to be movable so as the house grows I can re-position it.
