Cold weather here, makes me REALLY miss Negril

I turned on the furnace a few weeks ago here in the Windy City
(Go Cubs)
But, at night when I snuggle up under the covers,
I turn the thermostat down.
This morning, it felt like ice and snow!!
I really miss Negril, Jamaica, West Indies.:(

I hear ya, mi breddrin'. One year our furnace died when we fired it up for the fall. Didn't get a new one installed until November 11th. It's mighty chilly in the morning when you have to get out of bed and get ready for work. Amazing how quickly you can dress when it's cold!

Never used anything but a fan in Negril. Even Key West isn't far enough south for us!
