If you have your own car, how do you check out places on the Westend?
I can only remember maybe 2-3 places on the Westend
that have areas that a car can pull in.
There many, many spots/restaurants/bars/Hotels to check out, but....
where do you park?
My driver always drops me off,
"Call me when you are ready, I'll come and scoop you" he says.
Then he speeds off.

I can't think of anywhere on the West End that doesn't have parking or at least a form of parking very nearby.
Any place in particular that you're thinking about?

It just seems like all the restaurants are like just a sidewalk.
Maybe I just missed them,
I remember walls a entrance way, then another establishment.
It was always night time, so I will ask my driver to slow down a bit and take a good look next time.
So sorry if they are there.

Bnewb,
I went to Pushcart, did not see a parking lot.
If it is there, I am sorry for mis-information.
Re: If you have your own car, how do you check out places on the Westend?
Markospoon...it's not easily visible but Pushcart/Rockhouse has a huge parking lot across the street. You can also use the Rockhouse hotel parking lot...located near their reception area...but you shouldn't need it.
Your question is perfectly fair...it can seem intimidating when you don't know the driveways, skinny entranceways or that a parking lot is across the road. Some parking is on the street...ie. Sir D's and others allow parking in someone else's lot...ie. L&M grocery kindly allows parking for No Limit Bar.

Ok, I understand.
Thank you for setting me straight.

My suggestion is that leave the car and take a taxi. No bother with parking and you may come back a bit out of it

If you're going to a gated hotel (e.g. catcha or Blue Cave Castle etc) you can "beep" at the gate and security will let you in.

and if you ever don't see a place to park just ask trust me there is a place...nothing like the freedom of your own wheels
