Sour Sop. Do you know....?
I love this rare and beneficial to your health fruit, and can only seem to get it in Jamaica with a little bit of effort. The other day at a Market in Florida I saw a small healthy looking tree growing in a nice big pot. The vendor did not speak enough English to engage in a conversation about the plant's origin and prospect. It looked healthy enough but very expensive, $70.00. I would buy it in a heart beat if I thought I could grow it in my winter garden in Florida. Please advise as Santa is soon going to be expecting my letter. Hmmm Maybe not a good gift from the North Pole Santa. Oh well, Jamaica Dream Santa! Any green thumbs know the answer? Thank you for any help.

I live on the East Coast of Florida near where the Gulf Stream comes closest to the coast and we grow them around here. Check out this place where we get fruit trees in Florida. http://www.flnurserymart.com/products/plants/soursop/

Re: Sour Sop. Do you know....?
On our 16th trip to Jamaica we discovered sour sop juice. It was amazing! Now I seek it out each trip.
Why did it take me so long to discover this?
Of course we discovered it on our first non all inclusive trip. You miss so many wonderful things at the all inclusive resorts!

Thank you for your reply Accompong. I had a look at the site and will be ordering soon. I am on the west side in Tampa but I'm sure SS will grow here if it grows there. How big are your trees poolguywindsor? And how long have you had them? Grow them from seeds? All information greatly appreciated.
Re: Sour Sop. Do you know....?
I grew them from seeds. Lost a couple this spring moving them outside too early. The biggest one is about 3 ft. Not quite 2 years old.
