What place is your FAVORITE INDEPENDENT small resort in Negril or near Negril?

Fire Fly looks nice, to me. And Donaldson's looks homey feeling.:D

Donaldsons is a wonderfull place run by a wonderfull family. I miss the old days when Miss Lena was still alive and running it. The small wooden cabins and outdoor bathrooms and showers had a certain charm about them and it was all we really needed when we spent time in Negril. Never really had the need for a tv or ac. Spent most of our time on the beach or the porch and a cooler, coffee maker and our solar shower bag was all we really needed to make our stay a bit easier. The old wooden cabins have been replaced by modern concrete rooms and the price has went up but we still felt safe there and like part of the family. Last weekend nter we found a new place to stay called Seascape and most likely will stay there from now on because we want to stay for longer periods of time and having ng a room that has a kitchen and is more like an apartment is better suited to our needs. We will always stop in and see old friends at Donaldsons and continue to recommend it to our friends.
