Staying for month at a discount

My wife and I are at the age where we thinking of expanding our visits in the next couple of years. Our question is, which resorts will offer a discount for an extended stay in Negril?

GregandKelly...most properties here will offer some sort of discount for a month long stay...but...it will depend on which month you're staying. During high season at the more popular hotels...a significant or any discount may not be offered at all.

probably get to the point when you want to stay a month, 2 months or 3 months.....
staying that long at a regular resort can be cost prohibitive.......
so check out some of the resorts that specialize in long term rentals......or people that rent out der homes by the month
Summerset Village comes to mind.......off the West End Road and a lot of choices regarding accommodations.....
there are others too....mostly on the Cliffs.....just ask around or go door knocking.....you will find places
depending what your budget is.....you will find places in different price ranges......
anything over a $1,000US a month is too much money.......you can find places as low as $600 a month.......

I'm going to clarify Marko's post a bit as I'm not sure it's clear...
"anything over a $1,000US a month is too much money"...this price would be for a hotel/home in the West End area or the morass side of the road.
If you're looking for something with air conditioning, a pool and especially located on the beach side, it's going to be higher than the $1000us a month.

Negril Beach Club Condos does longer term..maybe check them out too

Meant To Be Villa. up Westland Mountain Road. is nice. They have wi-fi, cable, pool, they offer 2 studios, and a stand alone cottage, and a 1 bedroom which also has AC. the units range from $700- $1300 pm.. The owners, are from MN, and the security is great( 5 team crew). Must love dogs!!!. Westender Inn, has some nice cottages. And I also looked at some private apartments in Redground, that i would not mind staying in.
