Happy Easter in Negril

Happy Easter to everybody especially those lucky enough to celebrate it in Negril. I always loved being in town during Easter Weekend and going to church whatever denomination it might be especially Mary Gate of Heaven in Negril. To see all the parishioners and visitors alike dressed in their Sunday Best is a lovely sight to see. The spirit and friendship is contagious regardless of ones religion or beliefs. It turns out to be a joyous day of celebration and Easter parties throughout the weekend.

So if you happen to be in Negril today please say a prayer for all of us who wish we were there too. Peace and Love to all!!

Glad to hear about your festive and loving Easter Weekend. Beyond the food, drink and visiting friends another thing I enjoyed about Easter in Negril was the mix of so many Jamaicans and visitors enjoying Negril Beach and swimming especially all the children. Such a happy and fun day for all. Sounds like the positive spirit continues.
