One of our island's Reggae ambassador's passed this morning. We featured and webcast Frankie many times over the years. Here is the first time he graced the pages of Negril.com. You are missed my friend...

We saw Frankie Paul at Sandals Negril in 2009 as a surprise guest artist....RIP

Saw him at Ericas around 1990 ish. Just him and a backup band in the back yard. I knew nothing about him and bought many cassettes and albums after that which I still have. May have to dig them out and play them.��

RIP He was a good friend of mine. We always visited in Negril when he came through over the years and was a performer at our Duluth,MN Bayfront Reggae and World Music Festival. As a nurse we always had a nurse assigned to Frankie due to his brittle diabetes. What a voice that man had.....I have been to Gambia many years ago and I am sorry I never got back there to take him up on his welcoming offer to come visit and stay there. he will be missed....another fine artist gone.
