Just stayed in cabin 4 Xtabi for 4 nights. Pros: 2 levels with bathroom each level and "real" stairs, not a Little House style ladder to loft. Spacious. Kitchenette w, decent fridge, coffee maker, 2 burners. Awesome outdoor shower w/ great water pressure and warm water. Nice deck. Cons: bed isn't terrible but the sheets and pillows were. Bring your own, and also bring beach towels. There is a space under front door that allows ants to get in the cabin. Every night husband killed big black ants. There is no shade at all on the deck. Once the sun is over the building u are completely shadeless and there is no AC so daytime, esp this time of year, can get blistering hot in there.
Not really sure about cabin 1, didn't see the inside. Cabin 3 is cute w/ shade but no kitchenette or coffee machine. Has AC tho but with that shade i wouldn't even need ac.
I'd stay at Xtabi again for sure despite the cons! The people who work there are lovely, and the food and drinks are great. I'd bring a pillow and sheets.
nirvana on the beach was wonderful. Stayed on upper Veranda. So nice, clean, big, ac, gorgeous garden out back. Would def stay there again if we ever stay on beach. We usually stay just on the cliffs.
Catcha is v nice. A lil fancier, I always say.
