Evening cruise not going to Rick's
Staying on the West End Cliffs next to Rick's. Are there any late afternoon evening cruises with a small amount of folks that does not have Rick's as a destination ? Have some friends joining us who have never been to Negril. Would like to take them on a small laid back sunset cruise with drinks that doesn't have Rick's as a destination.

Redlegger,
You could make a deal with a someone like Famous Vincent. He will come along the Cliffs asking if anyone wants to go snorkeling. I'm sure he would work something out for a sunset cruise. He's a nice guy and would make it a great experience. You'll probably have to bring your own booze.

Thanks . Glad to see Vincent is still around . I snorkeled with him in '96 and again in '13. In '96 we stayed on the beach and took a cruise with only about a dozen people in a Cat. Would love to do that again with our friends without a boat full of liquored up tourists . Always trying to find Sammy's where I camped in '79. Recognized it off the boat in 96. Had trouble locating in '13.

Redlegger, contact YaMon Red Stripe. If you pick a day they don't have booked, you can negotiate with them for a private charter (if you have enough) and maybe say we don't want to go to Ricks. We only stopped at Ricks for a few minutes when we were out on it and then went down to the lighthouse and back.

Pogo / Spech will take you anywhere you want. They run out of Yellow Bird.

We did Ya Mon, which did stop at Rick's, but you had to swim to Rick's and back. Lots of folks just sat on the boat and continued to drink. It's fun to just watch the cliff jumpers. But if not I like the recommendation of haggling a charter with them on one of their "off" days.

Yeah, just have 8 or more. In off season you should be able to get it for their normal price. I tried asking for Feb and they want $700 or $90/pp, whichever is higher. LOL GTFO with that.
As with everything, YMMV.
