New Trauma Center for Negril !!!

From the Jamaica Star:

"Last week Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett announced that more than $226 million was being provided by the Tourism Enhancement Fund to construct a trauma centre and $6.7 million to purchase an ambulance for the Negril resort area. He also said $21 million was allocated to purchase fogging machines for vector control in Westmoreland, Hanover, St James and Trelawny.
On Sunday the minister told WESTERN STAR that the work on the facility is expected to commence this year."

Great News!!

Wow, an ambulance and a trauma center! This lightens my concerns about jumping at Ricks, a habit I gave up when I reached middle age.

That's great (especially considering the aging tourist population that tends to frequent Negril now, including myself.. lol)!!!
