Is Presleys Restaurant still up and running?
I just saw something on the internet
and realized I have never been there.
Also, Is Eddied De Bar still up and running?
I love that place.
I remember reading something about Eddie and Trevor having another place????
Or their sons???

Maybe Kool Vybes where Aubie's burger place used to be? Best jerk chicken I've had, hands down! I think this is a son or relative of the 3 Dives / De Bar family.

When I was on the West End a couple weeks ago, it looked like some work was being done to Eddie's (i.e. replacing the thatch roof on the bar). Maybe he will reopen for the busy season.
But yeah, I went to Kool Vybes instead and had some great jerk chicken. Trevor came out of the kitchen and chatted with us for a while, just like old times.
As for Presely's - I think he will open if you make a reservation. Most nights he was closed, due to the lack of reservations during the slow season. However, a few days during the afternoon I saw his door open. He usually opens up for "happy hour" and that is how he attracts a lot customers that come back for dinner.
I have Presleys phone number if you need it. I always call a few days ahead. We normally go over Thanksgiving. We are going earlier in Nov. Eddies is my favorite place to eat. He is such a nice guy.

Ricky who is the cook and close friend at Debar said Eddie foreign for now.....
and sounds like Debar will be moving at some point.......as they don't own dat land

3 Dives is very similar (same family)
Eddie told us last Nov he would be going back to DC to his wife. He said they would be back in Oct. I guess she stays in Negril a month and goes back to DC. If anyone hears he moves his place, please post.
