Service Charge on bill

Does Murphys West End Restaurant charge the price that is posted on the menu,or is there a surprise 18% or whatever it is attached to the bill when you get it?It is nice to know which restaurants charge what is posted and which add the service charge to the bill when they give it to you.I like to know what I'm being charged up front and not get the nasty surprise.

Not sure about Murphys as I've never seen their menu...but a business that does not include their service charge & GCT in their food/drink prices will declare it at the bottom (or some location) on the menu.

Just spoke with Murphy and he said that the price you see is the price you pay. No gct or service charge added, which is why it is not on the menu.

I've been to Murphy's several times. No service fees, just excellent food & hospitality. Well worth the trip.
