The Beach Park close to the River

I was talking to the owner of a Beach Hotel last trip.

Mon, they messed up the Beach Park.
They put all this money into renovating it, then closed it down.

It was meant to be a nice area (which it is) on the beach for locals to enjoy.
Politics got involved somehow, then they closed it for something or other.

I remember a couple of trips past.
Guys were putting up a nice wall,
other guys were painting it, a nice shade of Blue.

Man, it's going to be nice when they finish.

Anyone know of the progress
or lack thereof regarding the Beach Park close to the River??

I sure hope it is open to the Public now.
