If someone wants their personal letter to the editor posted....
They are more than allowed to post it themselves. Please refrain from posting editorials that cannot be addressed by the original editorial authour.
News stories are one thing, they tend to be based on facts as known at the time. But letters to the editor are unsubstantiated facts, nothing more than an opinion. And not being able to address the opinionated authour is not fair to anyone.
Please feel free to contact the authour and ask them to join the board so their opinion can be properly discussed with their replies taken into account.

Sorry, thought I could post something from the Gleaner. I think everybody knows what an editorial is that’s why I put the word in heading. Again, sorry Rob.

Just read this piece in the Gleaner......wow, it makes Negril look quite sinister and dark...still will not deter us as newbies from coming and keeping an open mind.....peace!

It’s not deterring us either, we will be down in a few weeks for awhile. Just be aware of your surroundings, just like anywhere else we travel and you should be fine.

Tubes,
Nothing personal man.
I have caught a couple of Bennie's lectures on this (and other topics) and his question and answer sessions. Invariably the concept of demand "demanding" the supply always comes up.
If there was no demand, there would be no supply. Even his students point this out.
While he is entitled to his opinion, without having him in the conversation would only lead to conjecture and speculation.
After seeing him in action, I know that would be the last thing he would want by getting his opinion in the Gleaner. As he stated, he was making a point to try to get "the right people's" head out of the sand.
