How does this sound, a Pub Crawl "the other way"?
How does this sound, a Pub Crawl "the other way"?
On Thursday the 26th of April, a plan has been made for a Boardie gathering at Red Dragon. Of course, before the pork is gone.
We are throwing out an idea for a Pub Crawl "the other way"! Red Dragon, before the pork is gone, will be the first stop!
From there we will head out in the bus to many spots that most visitors have never ventured. You will enjoy places off the beaten track while still being able to visit your favorites in the future!
The starting point will be noonish at Dru's and returning to Dru's in time to enjoy sunset back in Negril!
If this is something that you may be interested in, we are asking your thoughts, let us know what you think or just sign up below!
Many thanks!

Wait.
WHAT?
Who is responsible for this "plan" you speak of? :friendly_wink:
We are all about pub crawls, but why Red Dragon? They are not equipped to handle an influx of 40-50 people suddenly popping in there. And the regulars seem to despise it when a big group comes in.
Is there a list of the other places you plan to stop besides Dru's? Or is this idea still in the "planning" phase?

40-50 people... then I'd be second guessing my decision regardless.... that seems like a lot for one pub crawl
Re: How does this sound, a Pub Crawl "the other way"?
I'm in .. Pack de bus.. One love for real. I've been in Ragga with 40 to 50 before. No big deal cuz I will already be sitting in the corner with my Red Stripe in hand.
Re: How does this sound, a Pub Crawl "the other way"?
This is the same day as the Red Stripe Cat cruise so lots will be on that.

Rob, sounds great. Count me in.

We weren't quite thinking we would have 40-50 people going...if there are that many we would just get a couple of buses so everyone is comfortable. No problem! :encouragement:
Lenbert and Rob have brought in 40-50 people fairly regularly to Red Dragon and while it takes a few minutes more to get a drink...Gardo and Julie handle the crowd quite well.
As a "regular" at Red Dragon and knowing the "regulars" quite well...I can't think of anyone that despises the large groups coming in...quite the opposite actually, as everyone knows it brings in much needed business. We've all just learned to quickly get our drink before the crowd gets off the bus...the crowd never remains more than 20 or 30 min. max. No worries!

Dru's is the meeting place and drop off location. The direction we will be going is the road that heads to Sav La Mar...maybe 4-5 bars...not much further than Negril Spot.

My fault...I told Rob I thought the cat cruise was on Wednesday. Is there a better day other than Thursday for the pub crawl?
