Traveling in July with a early flight home..anyone know what time the shops open at the airport?
Good question. I looked around (for maybe a minute) and could find no hours listed for the shops. Here's the webpage though - you could call your favorite and see what time they normally open.

which shops?
retail? buy at your location....
food.... there's got to be something
duty free... I'd imagine with the way it's set up that they are open from first flight to last
Between Red Stripe gear, Bob Marley stuff and Havaianas I spent as much at the airport as I did anywhere on the trip. Great stuff available there.
I'm going to get in trouble. Can I ask why you would not visit and holiday and support local artisans … to shop at the last minute at the airport which is hit and miss I find offensive. Sorry … maybe get some of that made anywhere but Jamaica. I know products are sold ligit from jamaica at the airport, but why not support local artisans and enjoy the culture you came to visit.
Carrie, where in Negril can I buy legit Bob Marley or Red Stripe gear? Maybe you find it hit or miss but I do not. I buy a ton of stuff at the airport because after a week in Negril I did not find items like those at any of the shops in town. Maybe you can tell me which local artisans sell Red Stripe or Bob Marley t-shirts and gear. And ones that are not cheap knockoffs or the like.
It's not like I'm not shopping in Negril during my time in town. For example, I can't wait to get another hammock from Seastar. But if you can't get what you want but know you can get it at the airport, so be it, who cares?
sorry but I’m rolling my eyes at this one , please don’t be presumptuous that I do not support LOCAL I always buy stuff in town... i’ve been going to Jamaica for the past 13 years .. never had such an early flight before so wanted to know if the shops were open because I do like to browse and buy a few things . so for you to assume that I don’t buy stuff at local shops .. well sorry you’re very wrong 100% as a matter of fact the reason WHY I am traveling to Negril is to pick up a very special wood carving that was carved for me from a local artist named Octavius in Negril.
Here is the carving from the LOCAl ARTIST I am picking upAttachment 51502
