Prays This Morning
Our 12 year old Beagle (Sadie) needed emergency surgery on here liver this morning. We are due to leave for Negril Wednesday and would hate to miss our trip but even more important is Sadie's health. I think she will be fine as the vet says they can take care of her problem and on of the vet techs happens to be our dog sitter so if all goes well in the surgery we should be able to still come and know she we be in good hands.
It is hard to understand the love of a pet unless you have them. In many ways they are letter fiends than humans because or there unconditional love. Pets don't care it you are rich, pooh, fat or ugly, they only want you love and in return they will love you back unconditionally.
I know this is off topic but needed to reach out for a few prayers for her, you can never have too many prayers.
Thanks

Sorry to hear about Sadie...Timm!
You are so blessed that the vet tech is her sitter & she'll be well taken care of....hope we are able to see you soon & a quick recovery for Sadie!

Timm.....is your wife Mary?
I think I just put the two of you together....she is on my facebook and I just read the same time post from her
My heart goes out to you both and to Sadie....I am a huge animal lover, but particularly dogs....they have always been in my life and you couldn't have said it better....they are amazing and loyal friends. My two are big spoiled rotten beasts but I love them dearly and would do anything to help, protect or comfort them.
I will keep you, Mary, and Sadie in my thoughts and prayers today. I hope the surgery goes great and is a success and that Sadie is back to normal in no time and you can enjoy your trip to Tensing Pen!!!

Its good to ask for prayers, we all can use 'em.......I feel your pain believe me, terrible to say, but I think I shed as many tears for animals as I have for some people..........

Timm
I just read the update from Mary on facebook.
I am so sorry for your loss
My thoughts and prayers are with you both still.
I know how much our pets can touch our lives, steal our hearts and stay with us forever.
Hoping that you two can keep the memories of all of the laughs, licks, mischief, and love from Sadie to find comfort during this hard time....and hopefully some healing that will come from your trip to Jamaica.
RIP Sadie
RAINBOW BRIDGE
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies who has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Re: Prays This Morning
Timm,
I am so sorry for your loss of Sadie. I lost my beloved furbaby in 2006, I miss him all the time. I will always remember him and will cherish all of the love and memories. Hold onto those memories, they will help you through this difficult time.

Re: Prays This Morning
No words can suffice! I assume from the above posts that things did not go as planned. My thoughts and prayers are with you, truly. I have loved and lost so many canine family members....yet I have found the strength to love again and again. My sweet lab is my best friend now...even after losing my other best friends. Never will their paws be filled by others but the power of love..will let your heart be replenished with yet another blessing when the time is right. My heart goes out to you and all that loved Sadie. Blessings sent with all the love that I have.
