When you pack for friends

Good golly Miss Molly,
My luggage is puffing out!!

I had to lay down on one suitcase to get it zipped up.

If you have a friend, you bring something.
Then , your friend brings you to their home, you meet the little ones.
Then Big Mama, cooks you a home cooked dinner, 2-3 times a trip.

I am generous, plus, still working in the US of A.
Old guys like me,
Don't need any new clothes
Don't go out partying,
Don't want any Jewelry.
Kids grown and left the nest.
What must I do with all this money??

To the Shopping Mall.
Good friend-Check
The little ones, hit the Toy aisle, Check
Big Mama, "man, she would love a new set of cooking Knives."Check
Hmmm, A bag of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups,
"Keep them in the Fridge, until you're ready to eat them"
I tell her.

Then there is wanna be grown Teen,
that does the running "You need another Beer?"
and getting you that "nice" chair when you stop by.

I found a manicure set of little nail clippers and other things for her and a nice smelling body spray.

Then Gran Pa, (not too old, but still a Grandpa)
would love, love a new "Tac light" Flash light.
Maybe even a new Pipe??

Once I was siting on the Veranda,
giving out toys,
I look around through the gate grill and there was a little boy.
Did not say a word, just looking, pulling on the bottom of his shirt.
He was so small and skinny, I'm sure he could squeezed through the gate .

I never give out everything on the first day, so
next day I gave him a Spinning flying disc thing.
.
"Watch the cars, don't shoot it up until the lane/road is clear."
Now its Marko!....... Marko!......when I stop over.
He runs like a little Usain Bolt,
trying to play football/soccer with the other kids.
A hop, skip and a jump and his little 3 year old butt is in my lap.

"Careful little man, Don't tear the package, we need to read the instructions."

Where are my glasses, can't read that small writing like I used to.

So funny when Big sis says "you can take him back with you"

Then it hit me:

The little one from 10 years ago is now big
and this little one has taken his place!!
