Up to Red Ground'
We had our friend Markie take us on extended walk deep into Red Ground. We spent about 45 minutes at Fuzzy,s house who I first met about 1973. He was a long time employee at Blue Cave Castle. We then took Markie for dinner at a cook shop near the gas station.
Regards,
Bob

Sorry, forgot how to post it's been so long.
Is the pool still at plantation house in red ground? When Mr porter asked us if it was a good idea
to put a pool in we said NO, too hard to maintain.
Miss my old stomping grounds.
Hubby Steve just passed away I'm thinking of a memorial trip soon.

Re: Up to Red Ground'
making me nostalgic. is that grandma porters place you are speaking of. we always stayed with the Mosely family . as you turned the corner in red ground heading down for the church on west end road.. any one remember Florences little bar. fond memory walking in and saying drinks are on me . (just a handful of people inside so not that big a deal)
