I saw this beautiful flower at Golden Sunset today. It is a Candy Lily and I was told it flowers every Christmas but this is the first time I have seen it.

The sea grass is back and it stretches as far as I can see. But the water looks great and the beach is wider.

When I first started coming down to Negril (1984), there were long stretches of wild beach where the sea grass piled up to over a foot deep. It's only due to the resorts and bars cleaning it up for our pleasure that the beaches look pristine. That's about the only advantage of over development that I can think of!
