Looking for hotel updates
Greetings,
We've been to Negril a few times, but it's been a while. Coco La Palm was a great experience the first time we were there, but after they expanded our second visit wasn't as good. We've tried Idle Awhile as well and it was O.K. We love 7 Mile Beach and the smaller resorts. Not looking for all-inclusive. Does anyone have any info on any new places, changes or improvements?
Thanks!

I stay and love the White Sands..it's cozy. You cannot beat it for the price. They remodeled the pool, and it is private and so nice to relax and have a dip later in the evening. Lots of action during the day ( a really good social bar ) but peaceful and quiet at night, Security, staff, housekeeping, all excellent ! Skylark is new , nice, and has great food, but a bit spendy.

Cat and Chief....Country Country is a nice smaller quiet resort..very well run. Treehouse is a nice place too..Rondel Village as well....White sands for the money is a great place for the budget as jojo p said..

I believe CCLP had some issues with increasing their staff due to the expansion. We were there again April 2019 and things are back to their previous high standards. All expansion and construction is completed. We are already booked again for April 2020

Another vote for Treehouse and my second choice is Charela Inn. Both places make you feel like family.
