White Sands, question about number of guests

I wanted to stay in the standard gardenside room at White Sands, but I see that they say that it is for 2 people. I won't have anyone with me, will they let me stay there if it's just one person? I stayed there by myself in 2009 without any problem. Does anyone know if they have changed the rules?

Im staying for 11 in December as a single no problem. Just phone them.

Yep, that's a limit not an absolute number. I've been staying there myself the last 4-5 years...

Thanks all, sorry for the late response. I forgot to mention that I had stayed in the beachside rooms in 2009.
