Help! I need to decide today! Rooms on the beach or Jamaica Tamboo

Good Afternoon,

A friend of mine and I are arriving Negril Dec 30th for 5 nights. As you know, our hotel selection is limited for our dates. I have a reservation at Rooms on the Beach, Tamboo is also available and about $270.00 less expensive. We don't need luxury but we need clean and safe, we are interested in location. We're 2 females traveling alone so we wanted to stay on the beach, near the popular bars. I have to decide today before I go into cancellation fee's at Rooms on the Beach.


We're excited to spend NYE in Negril!

I would keep the reservations you have at Rooms.

Yes, Rooms is alright! Stayed there a couple of times including last year for New Year's. The rooms are clean, security is on top of things and you have nice little bars/restaurants right next door. They also have a pool.

Stick with Rooms. You will love it

I just have one tiny comment about rooms, and not really about rooms, I've lost track of how late the bars can stay open now, perhaps Bnewb can jump in, but that end of the beach tends to get less sleep then the other. Quite a bit of late night music.

I stayed at Rooms on my first visit to Negril. Loved it! :encouragement:
