i aint flying anywhere for the foreseeable future. this week i cancelled 16 flights that i was scheduled to fly in as many weeks. some were for business, some were for a vacation. aint worth it. people are damn pigs and the airports are filthy. the head of the new york port authority caught the virus visiting the airports he manages.
went to lunch on sunday afternoon at a decent restaurant here in the states. go to the restroom and get to watch a dude leave the stall and walk out without washing his freaking hands. you can't turn on the media these days without hearing how important it is to wash your freaking hands. damn pigs. this is why we can't have nice things like low infection rates. the damn pigs.
as long as people behave like pigs, and places of business are filthy as pig stys, and this virus is circulating you best become a hermit. soon enough the states will be on lockdown with the national guard on every corner.
go cold ass mojo. dont hold back
sorry meant Mofo
Nope! The chance of getting the virus is as high as getting the flu. I work in the a hospital in Fl.
Va hospital. As long as you are healthy , you should not be afraid!
I second the bathroom comments. I am consistently amazed by the number of people who either talk on their phone while taking dumps and/or not washing hands. Seriously, no class.
We are taking our family down to Florida next month and I keep telling my wife to stay fluid. We are flying out of O'Hare, to Charlotte, into Orlando. That's two of the top 10 airports in the country. When I told her maybe a few weeks ago that we should rethink flying (and drive instead) she laughed at me. Not so much today. I just don't know. We are all young and healthy so I am not too worried, if anything I am more worried that our flights will be cancelled and/or modified. Makes me think let's just "Iron Man" it from WI and avoid the airports altogether. Anyway, just my two cents...
Unless we can't fly in, I'm still planning on celebrating my 60th birthday in April!
We still plan on going the first week of May unless we can't because of restrictions, cancelled flight, etc.
We are still planning on going mid-April.
By the way, you are probably just as likely to contract the virus eating out at restaurants as you are by flying.
