tips on keeping the same Jamaica number
was wondering if anyone has suggestions on least expensive way to maintain the same number for yearly or twice a year trips.
contacting Digicel i have been told a monthly top off is needed . i have been also been told every 3 or 4 months.
also the cheapest top off used to be 5 U.S but i see now 7 U.S..
any thoughts? thanks
Re: tips on keeping the same Jamaica number
Do a 20.00 Us top up. It will keep your number for one year. The credit will last a few months. I give my unused credit to LInston. You might have someone that would like that.

Go to the "my digicel" link on their website. You can do it from there. You can also download the my digicel app for your phone from the Play Store or Apple

Re: tips on keeping the same Jamaica number
with a Digicel sim in your unlocked phone dial *124# and it says when your sim will expire and when your air time will expire
you can add phone credit from foreign via Ding.com and also via your MyDigicel App when connected to wifi…..

Re: tips on keeping the same Jamaica number
thank you Marko and Captaind . this is better info than i receive from digicel. i will check into the 20 dollar idea as that would make it easier . i had been wondering also if the ding.com was legit as it offers just a 5 dollar top up?. i did try the *124# and it worked.
says my service will expire on july 17 2020 and air time on april 3 2020. i am guessing that means i can wait till close to july 17 to top off but as of now i have no air time. do you guys agree?
