From the JTB about the Jamaica Cares Travel insurance

Thank you for contacting the Jamaica Tourist Board.

We understand the concern you may have.

The Jamaica Cares Programme (Travel Insurance) policy that was slated to commence in the latter part of November, is not launched as yet, therefore, we are unable to provide any information pertaining to the policy. We encourage you to monitor our website for updates regarding such.

The Travel Insurance policy is not a part of the Travel Authorization document at this time.

Things will change as they need to change. I check for updates everyday, but that is kinda my job.

I would suggest checking every couple weeks, a lot can change in a month. Jamaica is trying hard to work with our visitors, not trying to make anything difficult.

Rob, thanks for the reply and all the information you keep providing us. We went ahead and booked our Club Mobay for our upcoming trip! Its getting closer!
