We've been in Negrill for about a month now and yesterday we were walking along the beach at Bloody Bay and noticed that somebody spent a good amount of time and money putting up a new barbed wire fence from the beach, cleared out a sizable area between the two Riu hotels, and a tall chain link fence at the roadside. and was curious if anybody knew what was going on there.
Two years ago the word was sandals bought it. I heard stories of skyscrapers and over the water bungalows. You said there was fencing? Are the blue tarp Shops still operating
Was this the area between Sunset at the Palms and the RIU where Office of Nature and the small shops are?
Yes it's right by office of nature where the pigeon cage is North all the way to the guard shack by the Riu negril. The fencing is mostly brand new and runs about 20 ft off of the water line. Some of it actually runs through some of the blue shack vendors huts. a lot of which it seems that the vendors haven't been back since the fencing has been up.Quote:
